About SAT
The SAT (Scholastic Assessment Test) is a standardized test widely used for college admissions in the United States. It is wholly owned, developed, and published by the College Board, a private, not-for-profit organization in the United States. It is administered on behalf of the College Board by the Educational Testing Service,[3] which until recently developed the SAT as well.[4] The test is intended to assess students' readiness for college.
The SAT takes three hours to finish, plus 50 minutes for the SAT with essay, and as of 2019 costs US$49.50 (US$64.50 with the optional essay), excluding late fees, with additional processing fees if the SAT is taken outside the United States.[7] Scores on the SAT range from 400 to 1600, combining test results from two 200-to-800-point sections: Mathematics, and Critical Reading and Writing.
SAT exam tests you based on three sections. Often known as the SAT subjects, these are writing, critical reading, and mathematics.
1. Writing Section
The writing section in the SAT test consists of three further sections. These include an easy section and two multiple choice question sections. The essay section is 25 minutes, while the multiple-choice sections are 25 minutes and 10 minutes each. This action has four passages, based on which some questions need to be answered.
