SPM is more than just a business school. It empowers one with skill sets that are functionally crucial to the management of a business, a core function, or a crucial project, while ingraining a tutored capability to self-learn in a continuum, to keep oneself professionally relevant to the rapidly changing world of business. The attempt is to zone in and enhance one’s ability to absorb and assimilate management skills in an application-oriented manner.

Teaching methods at SPM include lectures, case studies, seminars, group discussions, business games, role plays, simulation exercises, and structured and unstructured group work as may be needed by a specific topic. The emphasis is on involving the students in learning and helping them to relate concepts and theories to the business requirements of different industries. As an added advantage, the learning provided at SPM is not only restricted to the classroom but also through field visits, summer internships, independent study courses, and constant interaction with industry stalwarts.

INNOVATIVE LEARNING

Learning at SPM is not just academic. The curriculum is challenging and intellectually rigorous, but at the same time collaborative and full of interaction, with customized teaching methods for each class, from seminars, case studies, and lectures to learning lab simulations, which help one experience what business situations are really like instead of just reading about them in a textbook.

LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT

SPM strives to achieve the common goals of each student be it professional or value-driven assertions. In fact, group assignments are specifically designed to drive home the point that the objectives of the team are more important than that of the self. You’ll learn to lead and work in a team through leadership programs and workshops and role-playing that span the two years on campus. Through the process, one gains communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills which help to integrate knowledge for action across the curriculum.

KNOWLEDGE FOR ACTION

SPM thrives on the idea of holistic and beyond the classroom and presents opportunities to apply valuable skills through teamwork, co-curricular activities, conferences, research, and club life. One of the key components is a summer internship engagement in a field of interest which could open up professional opportunities.

SPM PDEU – Final Campus Placement Summary 2020-22 Batch as on March 22, 2022.

Despite the continuing challenges thrown in by the pandemic situation over the last two years, SPM-PDPU MBA Programmes have been able to start the Final Campus Recruitment 2020-22 process on the right note. Our campus recruiters have shown their trust and confidence in us this year too and we have also attracted some new recruiters from diverse sectors for campus recruitment. So far, prestigious recruiters like Accenture, Infosys, Wipro, Publicis Sapient, IHS Markit, Nestle, Ernst & Young, MRF, HDFC, Asian Paints, GEP Global, Value Creed, ICICI Bank, Asian Paints, Berger Paints, Synoptek, Nielsen IQ, Reliance BP Mobility, Khimji Ramdas, Spectra Fuels, Future Group, Adani Enterprise, IDFC First Bank, MBG Consulting (International Placement), Tata Consultancy Services, Evosys Global, Torrent Gas, HPOil Gas, Big Basket, TCL Cables, Glencore India, Gujarat Gas Piramal Glass, Brillio, IRM Energy participated in the campus selection process. 100% of students from both streams were placed successfully.

With the highest compensation package of INR 19.91 lakhs, the average package for the batch is INR 7.9 Lakhs per annum, which is an increase as compared to previous years. The placement process is an intensive process, driven by the students with the support of placement officers as per the SPM PDEU cluster-wise Final Campus Placements which helped suitably match the student’s skill sets and career goals with the recruiter’s expectations.
