Although the paper has five different sections, the order of the questions was random. i.e. 120 questions were jumbled up and no sectional bifurcation.

However, the whole paper can be categorised as Easy to Moderate, this random distribution of questions made it difficult for the students to capitalise on their strength.

Section 1: English Language, Comprehension Skills, Verbal Reasoning

No of Questions: 30

This section was dominated by Reading Comprehension and Grammar. There were two passages of Reading comprehension with six questions in each, which can be categorized as easy. Grammar consisted Fill in the blanks of Prepositions, Verbs, and Adverbs. There were four to five questions of Synonyms and Antonyms. There were two easy questions of Critical Reasoning. Overall this section can be termed an easy. A prepared student with enough practice of RC & Grammar would face no difficulty in this section.

Time to be allotted: 25 minutes

Section 2: General Knowledge, Current Affairs

No of Questions: 25

This section focused on the Static and Dynamic part, however, the weightage of the Static part was visibly much higher than the dynamic part. There were questions of Current Affairs regarding Defence Ministry, Famous Poets, Aakash Missile. The static part had a wide range of questions from Awards & Recognition, Economics, History, General Science, World Organizations and Polity.

Ideal correct: 13+
Time to be allotted: 10 minutes

Section 3: Quantitative Aptitude, Numerical Ability, Fundamental Mathematical Operators

No of Questions: 25

This section was a no-shocker with more weightage of Percentage, Profit & Loss, Numbers, Ratio & Proportion, Average and Linear Equations. A couple of questions were asked from Set Theory, Probability and Clocks & Calendars as well.

Ideal attempts: 21+
Ideal correct: 17+
Time to be allotted: 30 minutes

Section 4: Reasoning: Critical, analytical and logical

No of Questions: 25

This section had more questions from Analytical and Logical Reasoning. There was one easy set of Puzzles having four to five questions. Blood Relations and Coding-Decoding had five to six questions each. Few questions were from Series, Sequence, and Statement & Conclusion.

Section 5: Data Analysis and Interpretation

No of Questions: 20

This section consisted of two to three sets of Data Interpretation. All the sets were from Tables. The questions were calculative in nature i.e. percentage change, highest/lowest percentage increase/decrease.

In the overall analysis, the paper was Easy to Moderate. A student can easily try attempting 106+ questions provided he or she has an ability to pick and choose the right questions from the given bunch of mix breed questions.  The questions were well framed and so far, no error is observed/reported in any of the questions.

A good score in this paper should be 83+, however, the bigger strength will be the next phase of admissions which is Micro-presentation, Skill Assessment, and Personal Interview.
