Batch Size: 240

Batch Composition: The batch 2017-19 has 35% female students and 65% male students. 78% of the batch are from an Engineering background and 16% have a commerce degree. There are 16% fresh graduates in the batch 2017-19.  28% of the batch have work experience of 1-2 years and 43% have 2-3 years of experience.

Placement: This placement season saw participation from 105 companies on campus to hire 238 participants from the class of 2018. The increase came alongside a rise in the annual average salary of the batch to Rs. 22.24 lakhs. 35% of the 238 participants from the PGDM Class of 2018 were placed with top consulting firms, translating to a 30 percent increase in the consulting area over the previous batch. The average salary increased to Rs. 22.24 lakhs, up from Rs. 20.9 lakhs the previous year. Over 92 percent of the PGDM Class of 2018 batch received offers more than Rs. 17 lakhs. The median salary for the batch stood at Rs. 21.25 lakhs, an increase from the Rs. 20 lakhs reported last year. A snapshot of the domain wise recruiters are as follows:

Admission Process: The applicants are shortlisted based on their profiles. They are also expected to meet the qualifying scores in at least one of the entrance exams – CAT/XAT or GMAT. The profiles are scored, and the applicants are sorted into two groups: Profile based, and Profile-cum-score based. Interviews Applicants shortlisted in the first list are called for an early interview. For others, they are called for interviews on basis of their profile as given above, along with their performance in the entrance tests. The selection list is based on a composite score, which considers the applicant’s profile, academic record, entrance test scores (CAT/XAT/GMAT), the relevance of work experience (if any), and performance in the two rounds of group interviews.
