The MBA-International Business at SIIB is an intensive, two-year, residential, post-graduate degree program, specifically designed for a rewarding career in global business management. This program is a unique blend of theories and practices that prepares students for domestic markets as well as business on a global platform. The International Business courses such as Foreign Languages, Trade Finance and Forex Risk Management, Foreign Trade Policy and Export Management, make this program truly unique and raise it to the level of international status. Symbiosis Institute of International Business (SIIB) offers an elective system wherein a student can opt for Major courses in any one functional area of specialization (Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain Management and Human Resource).

Batch Composition: For the batch 2016-18, 74% of the students were male and rest female. Less than 45% of the students of this batch were fresh graduates and the rest had work experience. More than 60% of the students either had a BTech or a BE degree.

Placements: Of all the students of the batch 2016-18, 48% students opted for marketing and 33% opted for Finance. The highest CTC offered for this batch was RS 16.23 Lakhs. The average CTC for the batch stood at Rs 10.45 Lakhs and the median CTC was Rs 10.25 Lakhs. Top 10% students got an average CTC of Rs 13.35 Lakhs and the same for the top 50% students was Rs 10.84. The season witnessed many prominent recruiters from different industries like ITC ABD, VMware, Zydex Industries, Darashaw, Accenture, Merck (MSD), HDFC Bank, Dun and Bradstreet, , BOX 8, Michael Page, Axis Bank, , HDFC Life, DHL Logistics, Airtel and Crisil to name a few.

Admission Process: Each student desirous of admission to SIIB Pune must appear for Symbiosis National Aptitude (SNAP) Test, which is a common written test for the admission to all Symbiosis postgraduate institutes. Shortlisted candidates to book the slot and Appear for Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Exercise and Personal Interaction (GEPI) process. Final selection would be based on the cumulative performance of the candidate in SNAP, Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Exercise and Personal Interaction (GEPI).
