SIBM Bengaluru follows an Innovative Teaching Pedagogy comprising of:

  • Use of Harvard Cases and Simulations
  • Industrial visits
  • Use of Technology for Teaching and Learning using OLT (Online Learning and Teaching) software
  • Use of technology for evaluation through Moodle LMS (Learning Management System)

Batch Size: 180

Batch Composition: In the batch 2016-18, there were 65.5% male students as compared to 34.5% female students. 57% of the students were having Engineering degrees whereas 21% of the students were from Commerce background. 57% of the students were fresh graduates and 25% of the students were having up to 24 months of work experience.

Placements: In the final placements for the year 2019, more than 200 companies visited the campus and among them, more than 60 companies visited the campus for the first time. Altogether 40 Pre -Placement Offers (PPO) were made to the students of this batch. The highest CTC offered for this batch was Rs 28.26 Lakhs with an overall average of Rs 9.67 Lakhs. The median CTC for this batch stood at Rs 9.79 Lakhs. More than 100 companies visited the campus for the summer placements for the batch 2017-19 offering an average of Rs 45,000 as stipend with the highest being Rs 1.62 Lakhs.

Admission Process: Each student desirous of admission to SIBM must appear for Symbiosis National Aptitude (SNAP) Test, which is a common written test for the admission to all Symbiosis postgraduate institutes. Short-listed Applicants based on SNAP scores will be called for the selection process at SIBM, Pune. This process includes Group Exercise, Personal Interaction & Written Ability Test (GE-PIWAT).
