Leveraging its core competencies in research, training and consulting to the banking and financial services sector, NIBM started the PGDM (B&FS) with the objective of developing young executives specialized in core business operations and functions in banking and financial services. PGDM (B&FS), is providing to the financial system a pool of talented youngsters thoroughly trained and prepared with Analytical Skills & Perspectives in Banking and Finance for directly taking up managerial responsibilities.

Batch Size: 88 (For 2017-19 batch)

Batch Composition: The batch of 2017-19 comprises of 46% female students out of the total 88 students. 62% of the students of this batch are fresh graduates and 24% have work experience up to 24 months. Among the students with work experience more than 60% are from Banking and IT industry. 38% of the students of this batch are from Commerce and science background. Among all the engineering streams, mechanical Engineering graduates are 15% of the total batch size.

Placement: In the final placement for the batch 2016-18, the maximum CTC offered was Rs 19 lakhs with an average of Rs 10 lakhs. The minimum CTC offered was Rs 6 lakhs for this batch. The roles offered were varying in nature like – Risk Management, Credit Analysis, Treasury Operations, International banking, Finance and Accounts, Internal Audit, IT and CRM.

Admission Process: The college selects students through CAT/XAT/CMAT scores and followed by written assessment test and Personal interview. An aspirant must apply separately to the college by filling up their form.
