Batch Size: 40 (Batch 2017-19)

Batch Composition: The batch of 2016-18 (2nd batch of PGP) at IIM Bodh Gaya consists of 47 students, 95% of which hold a bachelor’s degree in Engineering. The batch has an average work experience of 15.5 months with 56% of the students having experience of 0-12 months. Among those with work experience, 58% are from the IT industry. The average age of the entire batch is 24 years.

Placements: The final placement process for the batch of 2018 witnessed participation from 35 firms on a rolling basis with nearly 10% of the batch awarded PPOs/ PPIs based on their internship performance. The average CTC increased by 8.9% over the previous year and stood at Rs 10,57,142. The highest CTC offered was Rs 24 Lakhs and the Median CTC was Rs 9 Lakhs. The average CTC of top 25% and 50% students were at Rs 15,50,000 and Rs 13,05,000. 9 students of this batch got offers in Financial services and 7 students in the education sector. During summer internships, the institute witnessed an overwhelming response from the industry with 24 companies extending 63 offers to the batch of 40 students. The highest stipend offered to be Rs 1,00,000 for a duration of 8 weeks, with an average of Rs 61,935, a good 31 % increase over last year.

Admission Process: The admission process of IIM Bodh Gaya consists of:

1. CAT Examination

2.Shortlisting candidates for Personal Appearance (PA) process

3. Conducting the PA process. A process is composed of Written Analysis Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI), and preparing the admission list based on CAT score, PI & WAT score, and Profile score as indicated in the policy.
