The Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGPM) is a flagship programme offered by Indian Institute of Management, Jammu. It is a full time two year completely residential programme spread over six terms including a summer internship of eight to ten weeks.

In the first year, it consists of 18.5 credit core mandatory courses. In the second year, it consists of 15.5 credit elective courses. Electives offerings include the disciplines of Marketing, Operations, Finance & Accounts, Information Technology & Systems (ITS), Strategy, and other elective will be added in the future.

Batch size: 64 (For Batch 2017-19)

Batch Composition: Out of the 64 students of the batch 2017-19, 76.12% are male students. The median age of the entire batch is 24 years and the average work experience is 17.07 months. 46% of the batch has work experience of 0-12 months, while 345 have work experience of 13-36 months. 70% of the batch has an engineering degree and 16% has a commerce background.

Placements: During the final placement of the batch 2016-18, 51 companies participated in the placement process. The highest CTC offered was Rs 32 Lakhs with an average CTC of Rs 10.15 Lakhs. The average CTC of the top 20% of the batch was Rs 17.59 Lakhs. While 50% of the batch got Sales and Marketing roles, 25% got roles in Finance. The BFSI and Consulting industry were the largest recruiters with each of them recruiting one-sixth of the entire batch. Some of the top companies who visited the campus were – HDFC, RITES, IFFCO TOKYO, SSEBI, Ford, TATA Steel, ITC, Reliance, JIO among others.

Admission Process: Students entering IIM Jammu are selected through a ranking of a composite score based on the CAT score, Class X and XII marks, Graduation Marks and Work Experience.
