Key highlights of the course at IMT would be cross functional core courses like Design Thinking, Negotiation Skills and Cross Functional Simulation; these courses add inventiveness, nimbleness and flexibility to the students’ problem-solving skill-set for the emerging business environment and groom them to function as a leader in the long run. IMT Ghaziabad offers its students an action-based course on Sustainability and Social Responsibility, aimed at learning by doing, while simultaneously serving the needs of society. It requires the students to work with the community through on-ground projects.

Batch Size: 450

Batch Composition: For the batch 2016-18, there were 82% male and 18% female candidates. Around 37% of the batch was in the age group of 22-23 years and 41% in the age group of 24-25 years. There were 76% students from Engineering background and 12% students from commerce background. 49% of the batch had work experienced of 0-1 year and 46% had 1-3 years of experience.

Placements: The highest Domestic and International CTC offered to the students of the 2016-18 batch was Rs 36 Lakhs and 25 Lacs respectively. The average CTC for the entire batch stood at Rs 11.6 Lakhs. The top 25 of the batch got an average CTC of Rs 19.77 Lakhs, top 100 got an average CTC of Rs 15.45 Lakhs and top 300 got Rs 12.34 Lakhs. 235 of the batch 2016-18 got recruited by the IT/ITES companies and 20% were recruited by the BFSI companies.12% students got recruited by Consulting companies and 8% by the FMCG companies. In all there were 75 PPOs and 47 PPIs offered to the 2016-18 batch. Some major recruiters are – Abbott Healthcare, Accenture, Capgemini, Cisco, Citi Bank, Cognizant, Credit Suisse, D.E. Shaw, Dell, Deloitte, Ernst & Young, Goldman Sachs, Google, HCL Technologies Ltd, Hewlett Packard among many others.

Admission Process: For IMT Ghaziabad, applicant must have taken either one of these tests: CAT, XAT, GMAT. The short-listed candidates will be called for a three-step admission process including Critical Thinking (written test), Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
