The Post Graduate Program (PGP) in Management at IIM Rohtak (IIM-R) offers a judicious blend of theory and practice and is delicately designed to be change-oriented. The course curriculum is continually reviewed and updated to cater to the requirements of industry and reflect changes in the environment. A unique feature of the IIM-R PGP is its in-built concern for the larger society as reflected in the design of the curriculum, which aims at nurturing well-focused, value-conscious and socially committed managers and leaders of future.

Batch Size: 240

Batch Composition: The batch of 2017-19 consisted of 51% fresh graduates and the rest having work experience. 17% of the students had work experience of 12-23 months and 16% students had work experience of 24-35 months. The batch constituted of 90% engineering graduates and the rest from Arts, commerce, science and management. Among the engineers, Mechanical and Computer science engineers dominated the batch.

Placements: There was a marked increase in the number of companies visiting the campus this year with 40+ new companies making offers to the students. Highest salary offered was Rs 30 lakhs pa and average was Rs 11.7 lakhs pa. Marketing stood as the top recruitment domain this season with 29% of all the offers made. With a 67% rise in the batch strength for the batch of 2017-19, this batch saw an unprecedented increase in the number of new recruiters for summer internship. A whopping 100+ companies (65% increase from last year) visited the campus to make offers in diverse fields. The highest stipend offered this year stood at Rs. 2,47,800 while the average stipend figure was Rs. 50,110 for two months. The domain wise snapshot of placement for the batch 2016-18 is as follows:

Admission Process: Students entering IIM Rohtak are selected through a rigorous process, comprising of the Common Admission Test (CAT), one of the most competitive entrance examinations in the country, followed by a Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview.
