The MBA (International Business) at Indian Institute of Foreign Trade is a foundation course for developing a competent cadre of business executives to meet the country’s growing requirements for training personnel in the field of international management. IIFT Placement Report 2022

Placements: IIFT witnessed an average CTC of ?25.16 Lakhs per annum and the median CTC stood at ?24 Lakhs per annum. The highest international CTC offered stood at ?80 Lakhs per annum, while the highest domestic CTC stood at Rs. 46.5 Lakhs per annum. The top 25% students of the batch received an average CTC of ?34.3 LPA.

Batch Size: 350

Batch Composition: The 2017 -19 batch has 32% female student as against 28% for the batch 2016 – 18. The number of fresh graduates has gone down from 30% to 28% in the batch of 2017-19 as compared to the previous batch. More than 50% of the students of batch 2016-18 and 2017-19 have work experience between 12-36 months.

Placements: Overall 94 companies visited the campus for Final Placement and 84 visited for Summer Placement this year. The maximum number of opportunities offered are in the Sales and Marketing Domain for both the final and summer placements. This year the students of IIFT received a total of 94 pre-placement offers (PPO) which is 29% more than that of last year. This year 34 new companies visited the campus for final placements and 24 new companies for Summer Placements. Overall average CTC offered during final placements this year is Rs 19.23 LPA. The highest stipend offered during summer placements is Rs 3 Lakhs with an average of Rs 1.37 Lakh. The breakup of offers during the final placements are as follows:

Admission Process: Based on Written test, Essay write-up, Group Discussion, and Interview. Based on marks obtained in the written test, candidates are called for Group Discussion and Interview to be held between the fourth week of January and the middle of February.
